Tara Stainforth is an elementary English specialist and curriculum material author. She earned a B.Ed and M.A. from McGill University. Since moving to Pointe-Claire, she has become involved in various community activities and groups, focused on improving communal life. She loves the friendliness and small-town feel of the city and wants to give her children a life where they feel connected to those around them.
Christine Latreille is an editor and freelance writer. She studied Geography and Environmental Studies at Concordia University and Fine Arts in College. Christine grew up in Valois and now lives with her husband and two energetic boys just a few streets over from her childhood home. She has always loved the community feel of Pointe-Claire and hopes that re-establishing the Block Parent program will help neighbours become even better acquainted with each other, all while aiding the young and elderly.
Lea Capuano is a graduate of Queens University, Department of Engineering and McGill University, Department of Management. Her past volunteer experiences include the Canadian Red Cross (Ontario), the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association of Canada, Girl Guides of Quebec, and Lakeshore Players Dorval. She is a mother of one, and in her (preciously little!) spare time, she cooks, acts, and sings…sometimes all at the same time!! Lea has lived in Pointe-Claire for 10 years and loves it!
